I'm feeling excited today to tell you about how gratifying yet challenging this journey has become for me. Excited and determined to get this marketing thing off the ground and running. I'm in love with what I am doing. Now sometimes I get frustrated, but that is normal for me. It's also normal for me to not quit, especially when it's something I love. The key here is to have the determination to be uncomfortable until I get comfortable.

 

Where Ya At So Far KB?

 

Well, I'll start with the biggest challenge I've encountered.

Videos!

 I hated the idea of doing videos, and I still think that I’m horrible at it. The idea of being on camera was not appealing to me at all!

 

As they say, the struggle is real!

I do think I’m getting better at both writing copy and delivering it on video. Yet I’m far from where I want to be on this. I have not been able to bring my personality into the videos yet. Here is my latest video. (Choosing a Niche Video)

 I’m sure you can see I have a long way to go. I can’t wait until this part of my business is just as normal as breathing.

I’m using videos because it's part of my overall strategy. Which is to use an Organic strategy to drive traffic to my sales funnels. (organic just means free)

 The overall strategy is to use videos, blog posts, and a Facebook Business page to ultimately drive traffic to my sales funnels. That strategy looks like this:

 

Video- Using Youtube to create content (content marketing) Ultimately becoming monetized on Youtube. This is a long term goal. My immediate goal is to get 100 subscribers on the platform, to get my own URL for the site. Also to create 4 videos a month with compelling content. ( right now I'm at about 2 a month)

 

Build a following on my FB page called KBs Marketing Hub.  

To build a group of like-minded people that will help one another in achieving our shared destination. The link for this page is below.

Use a Blog authority site called Medium as well as using my Sales funnels blog capabilities, to write blog posts that also drive traffic to my sales funnels.

 

The Technical Stuff!!

One of my biggest challenges (and initially I didn’t think it would be) is the technical stuff that just comes with the territory.

 Learning how to use my autoresponder, and my Sales funnel simultaneously, has been a huge challenge in that some parts of the process are foreign and alien to anything I have ever done online.

I’m pretty good at creating the images needed because that’s something I already know and enjoy, but learning both platforms simultaneously and being able to use them effectively has been, and still is challenging.

 I tell you this not to frighten you, but to inoculate you from some of the frustration you may experience as you start your journey. I almost hired a webmaster to do this work for me but I’m kind of stubborn on things like this  (I'm of the belief that I should know how to do somethings before I hire someone to do it, otherwise how will I know if they are doing a good job) I finally have somewhat of a handle on it (for now anyway). Lol
